We work in hybrid mode 3+2, at minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and 2 days on home office.

Location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

 

About the team: 

The team’s primary focus is on the product’s core parts responsible for gathering and processing information from the network devices and applications.

 

Our tech stack:

C#, .NET Framework 4.8 for code (we currently work on migration to .NET8)

xUnit/NUnit for Unit and Integration tests. SpecFlow + Selenium for E2E tests 

MS SQL, Azure SQL 

Visual Studio or Rider 

GitHub 

TeamCity

Jira, Confluence 

 

Your Role: 

Become a scrum team member responsible for the Core parts of our highly scalable SolarWinds HCO (Hybrid Cloud Observability) product. As an Associate Developer, you will work with other team members and product managers to design, review and develop new features and improve existing ones to make our customers happier. Also, you can have a broader impact on the practices used in the team and the whole department. To help in this way, we have many communities (DB, Security, Build, Automation, Agile, etc.) you can be part of based on your interests/preferences. 

 

Your impact: 

You and your team will be responsible for the entire development process, from prototyping to development, testing, and deployment. 

You will be part of an agile team that writes code, tests it, and takes care of its high quality and maintenance. 

We will be helping you, and you will be helping others to grow technical and soft skills. 

You will cooperate with other teams in the international environment to ensure meeting the product and organization goals.  

 

Qualifications: 

Must have: 

Have a general knowledge of Software Development processes and procedures. 

Contain the ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies. 

Be a good team player with a collaborative, curious, and innovative mindset. 

Have the desire to develop clean and maintainable code and follow commonly used practices, e.g. unit/automation testing, secure product development, etc.

Know good written and verbal English, as we are a multinational company. 

 

Nice to have: 

Experience with IT technologies (Networking, Systems Management, Virtualization, Cloud) 

Knowledge of CI/CD principles

Experience with our dev stack (C#, .NET8)

Experience with E2E test automation

Experience in building scalable applications
