Your Role:

As a Marketing Automation Developer at SolarWinds, you will get to exercise your expertise in marketing automation platforms, email template design, and more. This role is at the core of the Marketing Automation and Technology organization and is critical to the Automation Dev team and SolarWinds business. The ideal candidate is a marketer who’s in love with marketing automation technologies and is looking to dive deep into marketing automation maturity. They are organized, self-starters, and have a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Your Impact:

  • Create and optimize all aspects of programs and automation within Marketo including developing Programs and Campaigns, creating Smart Lists/Segmentations, uploading lead lists and data clean-up.
  • Support and execute the prospect and customer journey using scoring, nurture streams, lead routing, automation, and emails throughout the buyer’s journey.
  • Supports marketers in learning to leverage the automation capabilities of the Mar-Tech stack and in carrying out continual cycles of analysis and improvement for marketing activity.
  • Ensure consistent and effective use of Marketo for lead management, nurtures, and reporting, and provide services around Marketo as needed.
  • Available to learn and onboard to our other Mar-Tech Stack platforms as needed, such as, Outreach or PathFactory.
  • Assist with and provide insights into database optimization, including list segmentation, data cleanliness and integrity within our databases.
  • Execute strategy for growing the size of and quality of the contact database to enable effective segmentation and profiling.
  • Support technical stack integration, deployments, maintenance, and business rules which include marketing databases and campaign management tools.
  • Support the execution of the Marketing Automation roadmap, keep abreast of industry trends.
  • Establish and implement best practices for system maintenance, configuration, development testing, data integrity, etc.

Your Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related degree
  • 3-5 years hands on B2B experience with marketing automation tools
  • Hands-on Marketo experience in an advanced/admin capacity, Marketo certified a plus
  • Innovative thinker, creative problem solver
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, build consensus, and communicate your ideas
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic fast-paced, highly demanding environment
