About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting to support key corporate accounting and stock administration activities, reporting directly to the Assistant Controller. This role is focused on equity compensation accounting, technical GL support, and corporate finance operations.
The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in stock based compensation accounting, coordination with Payroll and HR/Total Rewards, system ownership for equity platforms, and execution of corporate-level account reconciliations and journal entries. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, solid US GAAP knowledge, and experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Stock Administration & Equity Accounting
• Support day-to-day stock administration activities in partnership with HR/Total Rewards, Payroll, Legal, and external administrators. Serve as system owner for equity platforms, including Carta and Equity Edge, ensuring data integrity, timely updates, and accurate reporting.
• Support accounting and administration for:
• RSUs and cash-settled RSUs
• Long-Term Incentive (LTI) plans
• Annual and discretionary bonus programs
• Prepare and record monthly stock-based compensation journal entries, ensuring accurate expense recognition and proper GL classification.
• Maintain and reconcile SBC-related schedules, including rollforwards, forfeitures, and valuation impacts.
• Support equity-related reporting requests, surveys, and census submissions.
Corporate Accounting Execution
• Prepare and review corporate journal entries and account reconciliations, including technical or judgmental areas.
• Support accounting for payroll-related activity in partnership with Payroll, including bonus accruals and equity impacts.
• Assist with maintenance and reconciliation of corporate balance sheet accounts and related supporting schedules.
• Support recurring close deliverables and ad hoc corporate accounting needs.
Technical Accounting & GL Support
• Provide technical accounting support within the GL, including application of US GAAP guidance to equity compensation and other corporate transactions.
• Assist with preparation of accounting memos and documentation supporting accounting conclusions.
• Partner with the Assistant Controller and Senior Manager on complex accounting matters affecting corporate accounts.
Audit, Controls & Compliance
• Support external audits and quarterly reviews by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests related to corporate accounting and equity compensation.
• Execute assigned SOX / ICFR controls, including documentation and evidence preparation.
• Assist with equity- and payroll-related audit requests, surveys, and regulatory reporting.
Systems & Process Improvement
• Act as a key user and subject matter expert for Carta and Equity Edge, supporting system configurations, reconciliations, and reporting enhancements.
• Identify opportunities to improve equity accounting processes, documentation, and controls.
• Support process automation and standardization initiatives within corporate accounting.

Qualifications
Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience, including corporate accounting and/or public accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP fundamentals and hands-on journal entry and reconciliation experience.
• Experience supporting stock-based compensation accounting and/or stock administration activities.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities during close cycles.
• Experience working with ERPs such as NetSuite and equity platforms like Carta or similar tools.
Preferred
• CPA preferred but not required.
• Experience in a software, SaaS, or technology environment.
• Familiarity with ASC 718 and equity compensation concepts.
• Experience operating in a SOX / ICFR-controlled environment.
• Exposure to Payroll, HR/Total Rewards, or Legal partnerships.
