Based in Brazil, this remote role is responsible for establishing and growing relationships with IT decision makers across the Brazilian market. The ideal candidate will engage with local clients and channel partners to identify opportunities and sell SolarWinds products and services within their assigned territory. This role requires frequent in-person engagement with clients and partners across Brazil, making local presence essential. Fluency in both Portuguese and English is required.
Responsibilities
- Engage directly with IT decision makers across commercial and enterprise accounts in Brazil, conducting in-person meetings with clients and partners as required.
- Use a consultative approach to manage inbound leads and proactively prospect within the Brazilian market for:
- Product evaluation requests
- Customers who have downloaded trial versions of our products
- Current customers with additional IT product needs
- Partner with sales engineering to conduct technical and non-technical product demonstrations, both in-person and via web.
- Identify the best platform fit for each customer and pursue cross-sell and up-sell opportunities while building lasting customer rapport.
- Strategically identify renewal, new business, channel partnership, and local market opportunities across Brazil.
- Provide superior customer service throughout the evaluation and purchasing process. Create quotes, coordinate with channel partners, and close sales.
- Maintain accurate customer records, activity, and pipeline reports within Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quota.
Basic Qualifications
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (written and spoken) is required — Spanish is a plus
- Solid understanding of the sales cadence and ability to optimize its execution
- Previous experience working at a value-added reseller, distributor, or technology vendor in the Brazilian market
- Channel experience is a plus
- Passion for selling and enthusiastic self-starter with a “can-do” attitude
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while achieving established sales quotas
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and in multiple languages
- Ability to develop and manage pipeline with weekly forecast updates
- Proficiency in Salesforce is preferred
- Solid understanding of IT concepts in order to quickly absorb and apply company-administered training
- Must be based in Brazil with the ability to travel locally for client and partner visits
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of sales experience within the Brazilian or broader Latin American technology market
- Existing network of IT decision makers and channel partners in Brazil
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
