Role Summary
The ISR – Specialist Solutions (Intern) will support the Specialist Solutions team by building and qualifying sales pipeline across the Database and ITSM portfolios. This role is primarily focused on outbound engagement, lead qualification, and opportunity identification, working closely with the Manager and Specialist teams to develop high-quality pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage and call leads provided by the Manager and sourced from campaigns, events, partners, and inbound requests
- Qualify customer requirements and identify opportunities within the Database and ITSM space
- Build, manage, and maintain an accurate pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Conduct initial discovery conversations to understand customer needs and environments
- Schedule follow-up meetings and hand over qualified opportunities to the relevant Sales or Specialist teams
- Maintain accurate activity, lead, and opportunity records in the CRM system
- Meet defined weekly activity, outreach, and pipeline creation targets
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with outbound calling and customer engagement
- Interest in enterprise technology, databases, and ITSM solutions
- Ability to learn quickly and articulate solutions clearly
- Organised, disciplined, and results oriented
- Prior exposure to sales, customer engagement, or technology is an advantage but not mandatory
Key Outcomes and Learning
- Hands-on experience in enterprise sales and solution qualification – Account Exposure
- Practical exposure to pipeline generation and opportunity management – SFDC
- Training on Database and ITSM solutions and real customer use cases – SW Certifications
- Mentorship from experienced Sales and Specialist Solutions professionals
