Job Summary:

We’re looking for an experienced Platform Program Manager to join our growing SaaS organization and drive strategic programs that underpin the scalability, reliability, and performance of our platform. In this role, you’ll lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering, product, UX, and support to ensure the successful delivery of our platform roadmap. You’ll be responsible for coordinating planning cycles, managing execution across teams, and proactively identifying risks and dependencies. This is a high-impact role ideal for a systems thinker who thrives in fast-paced SaaS environments and is passionate about driving operational excellence, improving delivery velocity, and enabling teams to ship high-quality, customer-centric features at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead planning and execution of platform initiatives in partnership with Product Managers (PMs), Product Owners (POs), and Engineering.
  • Translate product vision and strategic goals into actionable and measurable plans.
  • Maintain, track, and report on milestones.
  • Monitor and manage interdependencies, timelines, and scope to ensure program success.
  • Serve as the leader of the Core Team (PM, PMM, UX, Engineering, Support), facilitating key discussions around OKRs, risks, dependencies, and prioritization.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, blockers, and cross-team misalignments.
  • Ensure transparency across all stakeholders on program progress, changes, and key risks.
  • Provide clear, concise status updates, including milestone tracking, risk summaries, and roadmap adjustments.
  • Host and facilitate regular sprint reviews and retrospectives, capturing outcomes and driving follow-ups.
  • Coordinate monthly newsletter updates by engaging Engineering Managers and tracking contributions.
  • Prepare and lead Executive QBRs (EQBR).
  • Monitor key engineering and customer metrics weekly, including:
    • Customer issues and defects
    • Top issues impacting customer experience
    • Sprint-level plan vs. actuals
    • Security issue metrics
  • Identify trends from metrics to drive improvements in process, quality, and reliability.
  • Ensure consistency in reliability programs, including Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Drive cross-functional efforts around security findings and vulnerability resolution.
  • Manage and track defect remediation efforts, ensuring alignment with quality goals.
  • Drive completion of quarterly capitalization requests in collaboration with Finance.
  • Manage procurement activities and vendor relationships relevant to platform initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, preferably in a technical or platform engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience leading large-scale product development efforts.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex programs with competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Product, UX, Engineering, and Support.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), CI/CD practices, and platform infrastructure is a plus.
  • Comfortable using tools like Jira, Confluence, and other program tracking systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred
  • PMP Certification

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with metrics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or security programs.
  • Experience with FedRAMP a is big plus
