Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage a portfolio of accounts receivable. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and efficient cash collection, resolving payment issues, and maintaining positive client relationships by handling customer disputes effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts receivable to ensure timely payment.
- Identify and resolve issues that might delay accounts receivable cash collection.
- Meet and exceed assigned collection targets to optimize cash flow.
- Research, identify, and resolve unapplied payments to maintain accurate records.
- Review contracts, orders, and invoices to reconcile and resolve customer disputes.
- Ensure timely follow-up and regular updates to accounts receivable collection notes.
- Manage the production and distribution of weekly reports on Top Accounts to leadership teams.
Required skills:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial records.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in using financial software and the MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
