Summary:
A key member of the Enterprise Sales team, the Pre-Sales Technical Consultant plays a crucial role in pre-sales support activities, focusing on demonstrating and articulating the value of the company’s products to potential customers and partners. This role involves conducting product demonstrations, answering technical questions, and designing solutions that meet customers’ business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform pre-sales support activities in support of the company’s products.
- Conduct online and on-site product demonstrations and webinars.
- Answer technical questions from potential customers and channel partners.
- Engage in discovery sessions to understand customer needs and design tailored solutions.
- Articulate the value proposition of solutions based on customer requirements.
- Maintain and enhance technical knowledge of products; provide training to team members.
- Advise sales teams with technical support and solutions to fit customer needs.
- Conduct product configuration and troubleshoot customer issues.
- Convey customer feedback to Product Management and Development teams.
- Present at partner events and trade shows.
- Travel to partner sites for training and be on-site with key customers.
- Communicate with customers throughout projects, providing ongoing support post-deployment.
Qualifications:
- 4 years of sales experience preferred.
- 3 years of experience in a pre-sales role.
- Strong technical ability, sales, and customer interaction skills.
- Fluent in English; French, Flemish, or Dutch required; German a plus
- Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in Observability, ITSM, Database Management, Networking & Security Solutions.
- Relevant certifications/accreditations are desirable.
- Experience with cloud technologies, including AWS and Azure IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, is a plus.
