Summary:

The SolarWinds ASEAN team is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to cover the assigned territory. This role involves identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities while growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate will work both independently and collaboratively to execute a targeted sales strategy, working closely with System Integrators, Alliance Partners, and Channel Partners. The success in this role requires strong communication skills, cognitive problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage enterprise accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Generate leads, build customer relationships, and convert prospects into revenue-generating customers.
  • Execute daily activities such as prospecting, lead generation, and selling of the SolarWinds portfolio to territory customers.
  • Collaborate with SI Alliance Partners, Channel partners, and the Channel Manager to promote SolarWinds solutions.
  • Engage in on-site meetings and attend live events within strategically assigned territory accounts.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Manage pipeline and provide weekly forecast updates.
  • Ensure accurate business information for decision-making and control.
  • Develop existing accounts and generate new business.
  • Negotiate contracts, up-sell, and build customer rapport.
  • Provide necessary sales tracking and reporting using Salesforce.
  • Analyze data, formulate account strategies, and execute plans.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of direct enterprise software sales experience in the assigned territory.
  • Technical acumen with the ability to relate it to business value.
  • Proven track record of sales performance.
  • Experience and credibility in selling at the C-level.
  • Ability to forecast and manage sales expenses.
  • High intellect with the capacity to multitask.
  • Excellent qualifying and closing skills.
  • Strong business development, prospecting skills, and ability to build robust partner relationships.
