Summary: The SolarWinds Public Sector team seeks a dynamic Field Account Executive to support the SLED Sales Organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing new opportunities while enhancing the current install base with upgrade opportunities. This role focuses on executing a targeted sales strategy within the State and Local Government sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with SLED System Integrator Alliance Partners and Channel Partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in State and Local Government.
  • Contribute individually and as a team member to achieve sales objectives.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in sales within the State and Local Government sector.
  • Strong collaboration skills with System Integrator Alliance Partners and Channel Partners.
  • Excellent communication and cognitive problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced technical and business skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
