Summary:
The SolarWinds ASEAN team is seeking a dynamic Account Executive to spearhead growth in the assigned territory. The role involves identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities while enhancing the existing customer base through upgrades. The successful candidate will execute a strategic sales plan, collaborating with System Integrators, Alliance Partners, and Channel Partners, and demonstrate excellent communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage enterprise accounts within the assigned territory.
- Generate leads, build relationships with prospective customers, profile accounts, and convert prospects into revenue-generating clients.
- Execute daily activities, including prospecting, lead generation, and selling SolarWinds products to assigned territory customers.
- Collaborate with SI Alliance Partners, Channel Partners, and Channel Managers to promote SolarWinds solution sales.
- Engage in field activities within the territory, including on-site meetings and live events.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
- Manage the sales pipeline and provide weekly forecast updates.
- Provide business information for decision-making and control.
- Assist in developing existing accounts and generating new opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, up-sell, and foster customer relationships.
- Provide sales tracking and reporting using Salesforce.
- Analyze data to formulate and execute account strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of direct enterprise software sales experience in the assigned territory.
- Technical acumen with the ability to relate it to business value.
- Proven track record of sales performance.
- Experience and credibility in selling at the C level.
- Ability to forecast and manage sales expenses.
- Strong intellect and capacity to multitask.
- Excellent qualifying and closing skills.
- Business development, prospecting skills, and the ability to build strong partner relationships.
