Role Summary
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Head of Talent Acquisition, the Senior Recruiter is responsible for leading the complete recruitment lifecycle for a variety of professional and leadership roles, primarily focusing on Go-To-Market positions while also providing support for Corporate and R&D roles as required.
We seek a Senior Recruiter who possesses a strong background in establishing and managing effective business stakeholder relationships, directly sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling and overseeing assessments, guiding candidates through each phase of the process, and negotiating total compensation and rewards. In close partnership with business leaders, the Senior Recruiter will develop proactive, data-informed talent strategies and ensure an exceptional candidate experience from initial contact to offer acceptance. This role demands seasoned business insight, advanced sourcing expertise, and the ability to influence and align stakeholders, all while maintaining SolarWinds’ commitment to diversity, inclusion, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the comprehensive recruiting process for GTM roles, with occasional assignments for Corporate and Technical positions, encompassing talent needs analysis, sourcing, screening, assessments, offer negotiations, and onboarding transition.
- Collaborate directly with hiring managers and senior leaders to comprehend departmental goals, formulate targeted hiring strategies, and provide guidance on job description design, assessment methodologies, and closing strategies.
- Professionally represent SolarWinds, ensuring that every candidate interaction reflects our values and delivers a positive experience.
- Utilize advanced sourcing tools and innovative approaches to establish diverse, high-quality pipelines for GTM talent, including passive talent pools and just-in-time recruiting strategies.
- Engage cross-functionally with HR, Legal, and Total Rewards to ensure compliance, efficiency, and alignment with company policies.
- Offer informed recommendations to stakeholders regarding GTM talent market trends, competitive intelligence, and return-on-investment considerations.
- Promote SolarWinds as an employer of choice for GTM talent through networking, events, and consistent adherence to our employer brand standards.
- Maintain accurate candidate data in the ATS, monitor recruiting metrics, and generate activity reports for trend analysis and informed decision-making.
- Contribute to the development of scalable, innovative recruitment solutions and partake in special projects aimed at enhancing hiring effectiveness.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior recruiters as needed, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
Basic Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; executive presence with the capability to influence and establish credibility at senior levels.
- Proven track record in full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, negotiating offers, and managing the candidate journey.
- Expertise in direct sourcing techniques and building passive GTM talent pipelines, with experience in supporting Corporate and Technical hires as necessary.
- Demonstrated success in recruiting across multiple GTM functions, including sales, marketing, renewals, and customer success.
- Ability to evaluate technical, functional, and behavioral competencies.
- Proficient in salary negotiation and offer management.
- Experience with ATS platforms and sourcing tools, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple requisitions and priorities under tight deadlines.
- Adaptability in fast-paced, evolving environments, with the ability to balance strategic priorities and hands-on execution.
- Continuous improvement mindset, with experience in optimizing recruiting processes for global needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of in-house recruiting experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrated success in hiring primarily for GTM roles, with additional experience in supporting Corporate and Technical functions.
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
