Summary: Join our team as a SolarWinds Sales Representative, where you will drive business development within a designated region. Your role will focus on achieving revenue targets by efficiently responding to customer inquiries and providing tailored network management solutions. This position requires a dynamic approach to sales, including outbound calls, email communication, and managing the sales pipeline to ensure successful sales cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop SolarWinds business opportunities within a specified geography and achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct outbound calling, email communication, and channel coordination to manage the sales pipeline.
- Execute prospecting, lead generation, and sales activities for SolarWinds products, focusing on the database product portfolio.
- Engage directly with IT decision-makers across various enterprises.
- Utilize a consultative approach to manage warm sales leads and product evaluation requests.
- Partner with sales engineering for technical and non-technical online product demonstrations.
- Identify platform fit, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities while maintaining customer relationships.
- Strategically identify renewal, new business, channel partnership, and local market opportunities.
- Deliver superior customer service during the evaluation process, create quotes, and manage new customer accounts.
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity reports within Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
Required Skills:
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage with IT decision-makers and use a consultative sales approach.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing customer data.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet sales targets.
- Familiarity with network management or IT products is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
