We work in a hybrid mode 3+2, with a minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and a maximum of 2 days at the home office.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via an employment contract – FTE (HPP).

About the team

We are a Brno‑based R&D team building AI‑powered observability features for SolarWinds Observability Self‑Hosted. Our mission is to help IT, SRE, and DevOps teams proactively detect and resolve issues across cloud‑native and hybrid environments using built‑in intelligence. Current initiatives include capabilities such as generative AI query assistanomaly‑based alerts, and AI‑driven capacity planning. We use C#/.NET for backend services and Angular for the frontend, with our components running in containers orchestrated by Kubernetes and Docker.

 

Your role

As a full‑stack software engineer, you will help design and implement AI features for the SolarWinds Observability platform. This includes building UI and API components that leverage machine‑learning models—such as predictive anomaly detection and natural‑language query assist and integrating them into our on‑prem solution. You will collaborate with product owners, data scientists, and other engineers to shape feature specifications, develop clean and testable code, and deploy your work on Kubernetes clusters.

 

Your impact

  • Build AI‑enabled features that deliver proactive anomaly detection, root‑cause analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Implement generative AI capabilities to translate natural‑language queries into actionable observability insights.
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services in C#/.NET and frontend components in Angular.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, architects, and UX designers across the globe to align functionality with user needs.
  • Drive adoption of container‑based architectures using Docker and Kubernetes, and contribute to continuous delivery pipelines.

 

Qualifications

Must have

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Angular, C#, and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow test‑driven and secure development practices.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and a willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Good communication skills in English and a collaborative, problem‑solving mindset.

Nice to have

  • Experience building AI‑driven features (e.g., anomaly detection, NLP or ML‑based queries).
  • Knowledge of cloud development and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Exposure to systems management or logging and monitoring tools.
