We work in a hybrid mode 3+2, with a minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and a maximum of 2 days at the home office.
The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.
We employ only via an employment contract – FTE (HPP).
Summary: We are seeking a skilled Incident Commander to lead and enhance the incident response for our SolarWinds on-premises products. The primary objective of this role is to reduce the number of reported incidents by improving product reliability and security. You will oversee high-severity incident responses, ensuring swift triage and resolution with a strong focus on Time to Response (TTR).
Responsibilities:
- Lead high-severity incident responses, ensuring fast triage and resolution.
- Manage and remediate vulnerabilities reported by customers, internal teams, and tools such as GHAS (CodeQL, Dependabot, Secret Scanning), ReversingLabs, and penetration testing.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement fixes and verify resolution.
- Design and promote secure architectures and development practices to prevent future issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis post-incident and drive long-term improvements.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders throughout the incident response process.
- Contribute to process and playbook enhancements for incident management.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical skills, with experience in incident response and secure software development.
- Proficiency with security tools such as GHAS (CodeQL, Dependabot, Secret Scanning), ReversingLabs, and penetration testing.
- Excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Experience in managing high-severity incidents and reducing Time to Response (TTR).
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Experience in designing secure architectures and development practices.
