Summary: We are seeking a bright, energetic, business-minded, and self-motivated Contracts Legal Assistant to join our Legal Department at a high-profile, global software company. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the company’s Legal, Sales, and Finance teams and report directly to the Associate General Counsel for Sales.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee contract and legal intake requests from sales and other internal teams, including finance and information security.
- Act as point of contact between sales, finance, customers, and legal for providing guidance related to the company’s commercial legal contracting requirements and processes, including communicating standard responses and gathering further information as required.
- Advise sales teams and other internal stakeholders on legal processes and provide ongoing guidance and coordination throughout the contract lifecycle.
- Facilitate the contract documentation, approval, and signature processes.
- Assist with the oversight, maintenance, and management of the company’s contract repositories.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Superb organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, written (grammar, spelling, formatting), and verbal communication skills.
- Able to engage with internal clients in a business-friendly, succinct manner and forge and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
- Strong ability to multitask and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Able to anticipate issues and escalate appropriately.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Results-oriented, resourceful, problem-solver.
- A high level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information, as well as the ability to work well with people at all levels inside and outside the company, is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience working in a technology company in a sales support role is a plus, but not a requirement.
