SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic Senior or Lead Helpdesk Analyst to be the key IT presence at our Cork office. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in managing Windows, macOS, hardware, and collaboration tools, while also being passionate about community building and mentorship. You will collaborate with global IT teams to ensure seamless end-user support at our Cork site and assist with remote onboarding across EMEA.

 

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the senior technical point of contact for the Cork office, supporting users in both macOS and Windows environments.
  • Provide direct support for end-user devices, AV systems, and meeting spaces, and handle hardware escalations.
  • Lead or assist with remote onboarding for new hires across EMEA, ensuring a consistent user experience.
  • Mentor and provide daily support to junior IT staff in Cork and nearby sites.
  • Support executive and VIP needs, coordinating IT logistics for meetings, site visits, and events.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA SDM and global End User Services team to align regional operations with global processes.
  • Manage hardware lifecycle activities including device setup, repair coordination, and refresh programs.
  • Champion IT culture at the Cork site, becoming the trusted IT contact for the team.
  • Utilize Microsoft ecosystem tools (Intune, Entra, Autopatch) and Jamf for macOS device support.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on IT support experience, ideally in a hybrid or enterprise environment.
  • Proficient in supporting both Windows and macOS users and devices.
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for building user trust and problem-solving.
  • Experience in mentoring or supporting junior staff.
  • Familiarity with MDM tools such as Intune, Entra, Jamf, or Autopatch is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to balance ticket volume with project and people support.
  • Willingness to work across time zones and collaborate with global peers to ensure a consistent user experience across the region.
