Manager, Software Engineering

We work in a hybrid mode 3+2, at a minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and a maximum of 2 days at the home office.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via an employment contract – FTE (HPP).

Your role:

We’re seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead one agile team (5–8 engineers) focused on developing SaaS-based digital experience observability solutions. These solutions are part of the SolarWinds Observability product suite, helping customers gain deep visibility into user experience, performance, and reliability of digital services. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining high product quality, driving technical excellence, and fostering a strong engineering culture through continuous improvement and people development.

You’ll work closely with a local product owner, a product manager, and other cross-functional leaders across global teams to ensure alignment, delivery, and innovation.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• 3+ years of experience in people/team management, ideally within agile environments.
• Programming background – familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in SaaS product development and cloud-native environments.
• Knowledge or interest in digital experience monitoring and observability is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in English daily in a global, distributed environment.
