About the Role
SolarWinds is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager, Global Digital Advertising to lead the development and execution of global brand advertising, including TV/Video, Digital, Content Syndication, and Social. In this role, you will own the paid advertising plans. Your objectives include creating a unified strategy to drive top-of-funnel conversions for inbound demand generation.
The ideal candidate is experienced with B2B performance marketing and fluent in working with revenue-based goals. This is a matrixed role with Global Marketing teams to optimize SolarWinds’ impact through digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development and execution of brand advertising assets for Digital, Paid Social, TV/Video, Print, OOH, Audio, and Event Activation channels while ensuring tight integration with overall brand, demand generation, and ABM campaigns.
- Manage creative rotation and assets trafficking details with the media team and agencies in support of approved creative rotation plans.
- Manage agency performance: Supervise external agency relationships for key channels; review agency reports and run internal reports to monitor performance and seek improvement opportunities.
- Plan, set up, and optimize digital marketing campaigns for targeted/programmatic display, paid social, and content syndication to drive full funnel impact.
- Handle media buying through either direct deals or agencies. Work with a digital agency about campaign briefing, day-to-day communication, challenging media plans, campaign optimization, budget allocation, and evaluations.
- Own analytics tool management, reporting, and performance measurement, and determine the effectiveness of channels you own.
- Collaborate with the internal team at SolarWinds to share experiments, learn from other markets, and accelerate your impact.
- Regularly dive deep into data with reports and dashboards to monitor campaign results and drive strategic decision-making to optimize.
- Execute high-impact A/B tests to help continually improve performance.
- Provide clear, consistent, and frequent communication with stakeholders to outline strategy, tactics, goals, and performance of campaigns.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of advertising agency experience or client-side experience in advertising.
- Has led or supported the execution of advertising campaigns with a solid understanding of the production process, in support of media plan deliverables
- Experience managing and using the 6sense ad platform, and how to create audience targets using intent data
- Has B2B advertising experience.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing best practices and strategy
- Data-driven, analytical mindset. Experience in working with data-driven optimizations.
- Experience with Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, GA4, Looker, Marketo, 6Sense, Salesforce, Hushly, and Muntiny is a plus.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 10% +
