Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Channel Account Manager to manage and grow our channel partner network across the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with channel partners, driving partner sales, and enabling partner success to grow the SolarWinds footprint in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy for the DACH region to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Manage and expand relationships with key channel partners, including resellers, distributors, and managed service providers (MSPs).
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners aligned with SolarWinds’ go-to-market strategy.
  • Work closely with internal sales, marketing, and technical teams to enable partners and support joint opportunities.
  • Drive partner enablement programs including training, certifications, marketing activities, and co-selling initiatives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess performance, identify growth opportunities, and provide strategic guidance.
  • Maintain accurate partner pipeline forecasting and reporting using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and partner agreements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of channel sales or partner account management experience in the software, IT, or cybersecurity industry.
  • Proven track record of success in the DACH market, with established relationships in the partner ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of channel sales models (VAR, MSP, Distribution) and the ability to navigate complex sales environments.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English (fluency required).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in or with IT infrastructure, network management, observability, or cybersecurity software solutions.
  • Familiarity with partner programs and tools.
