Position Overview

SolarWinds is seeking a Director of Global Revenue Enablement who will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our customer-facing teams globally. This highly visible leadership role will have overall responsibility for the design and implementation of our strategic enablement approach focused on enhancing the skills and effectiveness of our global sales force, ensuring they are equipped to engage in meaningful customer conversations and achieve their performance goals. This role will have direct management and leadership responsibilities for the global enablement team in the daily execution of the enablement strategies focused on transforming our global sales team into a high-performing, customer-focused organization that drives revenue growth.

What You will Do

  • Facilitate Alignment: Serve as the connective tissue to guide and prioritize enablement requests, gather insights, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives that improve training, Go to Marketing Communications, sales plays, and key competitive differentiators across the entirety of the SolarWinds portfolio.
  • Oversee Strategic Programs: Manage the development and execution of strategic enablement initiatives aligned to business initiatives. This includes designing programs and ensuring their successful delivery to revenue teams. Partner with key stakeholders to track enablement metrics and KPIs, demonstrating the business impact of enablement efforts.
  • Innovate Enablement Approach: Constantly challenge the status quo, looking for new and innovative ways to drive strategic change in support of key business initiatives.  Leverage the latest in AI capabilities to improve scale and impact of global enablement programs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in sales enablement, revenue-facing roles, sales training, or sales support, with a demonstrated knowledge of best practices, methodologies, coaching, and technologies.
  • Proven track record of positively impacting business outcomes, such as ramp and win rate, and adoption of new processes.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role with experience managing global teams
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales processes, buyer journeys, and enterprise sales cycles.
  • Proven success developing and delivering enablement programs that drive measurable sales impact.
  • Deep experience in executing change management initiatives with established approaches.
  • Participation in sales enablement groups or communities is preferred.
