Your Role:

We are seeking for an experienced Product Owner to join our product development team in our Database Engineering Organization. This team is responsible for the development and maintenance of a suite of industry-leading database performance monitoring and related applications.

This role will be ideal for an individual who excels in technical leadership and strategic thinking and bring to life product requirements that solve customer requirements and align with the Strategic Product Roadmap.

In this role, you will work with our product management and GTM teams to manage the sprint backlogs for our teams to drive results and support our customers on their product journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Roadmap development: Develop a roadmap to guide development effort. Gather and analyse customer feedback
• Backlog Management:
  • Create, refine, and maintain the product backlog.
  • Prioritise backlog items based on business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
  • Ensure that backlog items are well-defined, clear, and actionable.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise requirements.
• Working with the Development Team:
  • Clearly define user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Be available to answer questions, clarify requirements, and provide feedback.
  • Accept or reject work based on defined acceptance criteria.
• Ensuring Value Delivery
  • Ensure that each sprint delivers value to customers and the business.
  • Measure product performance and user satisfaction to drive improvements.
  • Adapt and iterate based on feedback and evolving priorities.
• Risk & Issue Management
  • Identify risks and work with the team to mitigate them.
  • Balance competing priorities to ensure smooth development.

• Continuous Improvement
  • Stay up to date with Agile and industry best practices.
  • Improve processes for better efficiency and collaboration.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a product owner, with a focus on software products.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development processes and technologies.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
