SolarWinds has been growing its business steadily in The BeNeLux region throughout 2024. The momentum is extending into 2025. For this reason we are seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative based in Belgium.
This role requires fluent Dutch and English language skills. French would be considered as a plus.
This is a quota-carrying sales role focused on the commercial/mid-market segment in the region. The ISR will work under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager for the Benelux to manage and close mainly transactional/velocity business within their assigned market segment. The role will involve a combination of managing qualified inbound leads, upselling/cross-selling to existing accounts, as well as executing outbound initiatives.
The ISR will conduct business mainly over the phone and via Microsoft Teams meetings.
SolarWinds has a channel-first strategy in the region. As such, building strong relationships with channel partners will be a key to success. Similarly building relationship with customers and prospects and educating them on SolarWinds products and services will be an integral part of the role.
Your Impact:
- Engage directly with IT decision makers from a variety of enterprises and locations.
- Use a consultative approach to make warm calls and manage warm inbound leads.
- Partner with sales engineering to conduct technical and non-technical online web product demonstrations.
- Identify the best platform fit for the customer and cross-sell and up-sell opportunities, while building and maintaining customer rapport.
- Strategically identify renewal, new business, channel partnership, and velocity opportunities.
- Develop understanding of customer environments to build out velocity pipeline.
- Create quotes and new customer accounts, coordinate with channel partners, and close sales.
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity and pipeline reports within Salesforce.
- Meet or exceed annual sales quota.
Your Experience:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Fluency in Dutch and English. French is a plus.
- Solid understanding of the sales cadence in order to optimize its execution
- Previous experience working in a similar role with a technology vendor, value added reseller or distributor
- Experience selling through Channel partners is a plus
- Passion for selling and enthusiastic self starter with a “can do” attitude
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals by phone while achieving established sales quotas
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively is critical
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency with CRM is strongly desired; Salesforce preferred
- Solid understanding of IT concepts in order to quickly absorb and apply company-administered training
