This position is part of our Global Internship Program, which allows new talents to show themselves and improve and thrive with our support. It is an on-site paid internship on our site in Brno in The Czech Republic. The length is limited – for 3 months, for full-time employment – 40 hours per week. This internship cannot be done remotely.

We work in hybrid mode 3+2, a minimum of 3 days at the office with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a maximum of 2 days at the home office per week.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via employment contract – FTE (HPP).

Your Role:
Become a scrum team member responsible for the Core parts of our highly scalable SolarWinds Observability Self-Hosted product. As a test automation engineer intern, you’ll get the chance to learn about our current automation, write new test cases, and improve the existing ones. You’ll also get the opportunity to learn about the product itself and contribute to its code as a part of a feature development.

About the team:
The team’s primary focus is on the product’s core parts. Mainly certificate management and communication between services and servers.

xUnit/NUnit for Unit and Integration tests. SpecFlow + Selenium for E2E tests

Requirements:
– Contain the ability and willingness to learn and apply new technologies.
– Desire to follow industry best practices in analyzing and developing solutions to complex computing problems.
– Be a good team player with a collaborative, curious, and innovative mindset.
– Know good written and verbal English, as we are a multinational company.

Nice to have:
– Experience with IT technologies (Networking, Systems Management, Virtualization, Cloud) 
– Knowledge of CI/CD principles
– Experience with E2E test automation
– Experience in building scalable applications.
– Knowledge of at least part of our tech. stack
