Summer Internship – Solarwinds Observability

This position is part of our Global Internship Program, allowing new talents to show themselves, improve, and thrive with our support. It is an on-site paid internship at our site in Brno in The Czech Republic. The length is limited – for 3 months, for full-time employment – 40 hours per week. This internship cannot be done remotely.

We work in hybrid mode 3+2, a minimum of 3 days at the office with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays and a maximum of 2 days at the home office per week.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via employment contract – FTE (HPP).

About the team:
The team’s primary focus is on the monitoring of customers’ infrastructure with our OTel Collector and UAMS Agent running in their environments. We are collecting metrics which are then visualized in the SolarWinds Observability platform.

Your Role:
Become a member of a scrum team responsible for the development of the new SolarWinds Observability SaaS platform. More specifically monitoring hosts and various technologies like RabbitMQ, Zookeeper, and Kafka using OTel Collector and UAMS Agent. You will work with a product owner to design, review, and develop new features and improve existing ones.

Qualifications:
• Some experience with Golang and React.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and virtualization tools like Docker.
• Basic usage of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to write simple tests to ensure code quality and maintainability.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
