We work in hybrid mode 3+2, at a minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and a maximum of 2 days at the home office.

The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00.

We employ only via employment contract – FTE (HPP).

Your Impact:

SolarWinds is looking for a Software Test Engineer with solid testing and test automation knowledge. Become a member of a scrum team responsible for SolarWinds Observability (Self-Hosted & SaaS) Online Demo (e.g. https://hco.demo.solarwinds.com) and other Online Demos for products that are the key part of the SolarWinds products portfolio. You will be responsible for product quality delivery, technical oversight on automation tests, improving the test processes, and helping the team to follow the best automation practices. Besides that, you will also be responsible for testing Lab and production environments. As we extend the team, there will also be a possibility of preparing tests for SWI Cloud-based products.

Your Experience

We require you to have commercial experience in software testing focused on web-based applications.
We also expect you to have problem-investigation, debugging, and solving skills
Solid knowledge of some programming language – ideally C# and Python
Working experience with relational databases (MS SQL, MySQL,…).
You need to have experience working with Test Automation tools, general knowledge of OOP, and a solid understanding of the development processes.
Have good written and verbal English, as we are a multinational company.
At least a bachelor’s degree or 2-year experience as a Test Engineer or Developer

Nice to have:

Knowledge of SpecFlow framework (or similar), Gherkin
Experience with CI/CD principles.
Experience with a source control tool, like Git, SVN, TFS, or similar
Experience with agile methodologies, Jira, Confluence, TeamCity
