Position Overview :

Establish relationships and identify opportunities by skillfully engaging with IT end users, decision-makers and the Channel to prospect, qualify and close business within the Irish market. Meet or exceed sales quota.

 

Primary Responsibilities

· Engage directly with IT end users and decision-makers, as well as work closely with resellers across various verticals and sectors within the Enterprise, Commercial and Irish Public Sector space.

· Primary duties include fielding inbound requests, outbound calling, e-mail communication, channel coordination, and overall management of the sales pipeline through the sales cycle.

· Use a consultative approach to prospect, and manage inbound leads for the following:

· Product evaluation and trial downloads

· Channel initiated opportunities (Deal Registrations)

· Partner with our Solutions Engineering team to conduct high level technical overviews, and to ensure that prospects and customers receive a first class experience during evaluation and proof of concept stages.

· Generate quotes and issue proposals, including via distributors on channel initiated and fulfilment deals.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and channel partners

· Maintain accurate account records, opportunity activity and good pipeline hygiene within Salesforce.

· Occasionally you may be required to attend Irish Trade Shows and IT related events.

 

Basic Qualifications

· Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while achieving established sales quotas.

· Solid understanding of IT concepts in order to quickly absorb and apply company-administered training.

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively is critical.

· Good understanding of working with and through the Channel in the Irish market

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. LinkedIn Navigator, Outreach and 6Sense is a plus.

· Proficiency with CRM; Salesforce preferred.

 

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an IT sales environment (SaaS experience is a plus) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
