Your Role:
We are seeking a Automation Engineer to join our Full Stack Observability engineering org. This team will be responsible for reinventing observability in enterprises, reimagining, conceiving, and building solutions that apply intelligence to how our customers observe, act & automate all aspects of work. We develop and deliver a range of capabilities that together unleash the power of an observability solution across network, infrastructure, applications, data, ML, and business observability. We process several billions of data points a day, and design and build ML-powered applications that provide our customers meaningful insights from their data and make them actionable in real-time.
This position will be ideal for you if you enjoy building enterprise solutions that are architected for high scale, reliability, security and performance, are adept at developing against upon requirements through delivery to impact customers on a global scale and are also able to upskill the engineering organization by example. You should be excited to work with multiple tech stacks, solving complicated problems on multiple products and platforms.
In this role you will work with our cross-functional teams to progress the development of our existing industry leading solutions, and to help define the future of our new Full Stack Observability SaaS platform.
Your Impact:
- Be a customer advocate – identify feature enhancements and usability improvements that enhance the experience of a customer
- Be an active participant in product requirements, functional specification and design specification reviews
- Design, develop, execute and automate tests for our products and services which includes API, GUI and client-side packages
- Perform API, GUI and system testing for new features and enhancements
- Proactively analyze regression defects, conduct root cause analysis and provide detailed information to help development fix the issue
- Work across tech stacks, including front-end, back-end, and service development
- Drive continuous improvement and efficiency through process enhancement, automation, and efficient use of resources
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills to interact with both local and remote teams effectively
Your Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with 2+ years of industry experience, or Master’s degree with 1 years of industry experience in Quality Assurance
- Proficiency in our tech stack: Python/Selenium, Java or .NET and Cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
- Must Have: PyTest, Shell Scripting
- Nice to have: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform (IaC), Familiarity with Test observability and reporting tools
- Proficient with Networking and/or Database Technologies
- Experience with building/maintaining test frameworks and tools
- Experience with CI/CD is a plus
- Experience with any version control system like Git, Bitbucket
- Experience with unit and integration testing across a diverse technology base
- Strong DevOps acumen with strong operational excellence mindset
