Over the past 6 months SolarWinds has build an in-house specialist team of high performing SDRs, relentlessly motivated and engaged, they have set the bar high and are determined to deliver even greater impact to the business while developing their skills and advancing their careers! The ideal candidate will manage an inside sales team responsible for prospecting, lead generation, and creating interest for SolarWinds products to both new and existing customer.

In this quota carrying role, while managing the team to goal, you will simultaneously work with Regional Sales Directors (RSD) for our EMEA territories to design and integrate the SDR function to those specific GTM motions, adding value through increased pipeline generation of quality opportunities. You will partner strategically with Sales and Marketing Leadership, Operations and other functions to ensure the EMEA SDR Centre Of Excellence is aligned to organizational KPIs and is delivering on current expectations while planning for the next phase of growthOperational and tactically you will design and implement optimal process’ to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the SDR team, ensure the adoption and execution of this through a daily and weekly cadence of self-reporting on leading and lagging metrics, mentoring and feedback, while flexing and adapting as required to meet targets.

Your Impact:

  • Train, mentor and coach members the SDR Team to identify, contact, and create qualified opportunities
  • Foster a positive and motivating team culture
  • Ensure SDR Team members improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and constructive feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s
  • Plan for hiring and onboarding new SDRs
  • Work closely with the Demand Generation team to provide feedback on MQLs and campaigns with a view to implementing effective lead generation strategies
  • Work closely with Sales and other members of the SDR Leadership team to improve opportunity management and qualification processes
  • Work closely with Sales to establish and refine process for lead qualification and handover to sales executives
  • Work in collaboration with Content, Marketing Program Managers, and Product Marketing to develop effective messaging to convert inbound interest into qualified pipeline, implementing and optimising outreach strategies in the process
  • Generate regular reports on team activities and outcomes, using data to identify areas for improvement and implementing changes as required to improve overall SDR performance metrics

Your Experience:

  • Technical and sales acumen with the ability to relate it with business value
  • Demonstrated track record of recruiting, training, coaching, motivating, and retaining successful employees with a strong ability to inspire and develop a team
  • Can adapt to changes in business direction, products, and needs, both from a direct sales/partner sales perspective and SolarWinds perspective
  • Ability to problem-solve, balancing both strategic and immediate needs
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent business development and prospecting skills with the ability to build strong partner/customer relationships
  • Advanced proficiency with, NetSuite, and Tableau
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite and Outreach with exposure to tools such as ZoomInfo, Sixth Sense an advantage
  • Strong ability to excite, engage, and influence through demonstrated leadership and effective communication techniques
  • Ability to analyze data and use it to drive decisions
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong presentation and facilitation capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success with transactional sales models and ability to work in a fast-paced, innovative, evolving, results-driven environment
  • Ability to build partnerships and foster collaborative relationships across a global organization
