Your Role:

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Infrastructure & Site Reliability Engineering) with experience in AWS, Database, Kubernetes and GitOps to work with our Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. The successful candidate will understand SRE practices and have exposure to high-quality site reliability engineering practices (SLAs, SLOs, Proactive Alert Management, Incident Response/Review, Postmortems, etc.).

In this role, you will work with our SRE and cross-functional engineering teams to develop and operate our development and production infrastructure and operations

Your Impact:

Learn, develop and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of cloud (AWS) infrastructure and systems
Be part of a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation
Provide support during US business hours, working in the US Pacific time zone
Contribute to on-call, documentation and incident response playbooks
Embrace and adhere to development best practices, including continuous integration/deployment and code review
Maintain SOC2 compliance

Your Experience:

At least 6+ years of experience designing, building and maintaining SAAS environments
5+ years Linux administration experience
3+ years MySQL administration experience
3+ years AWS administration experience with Terraform (EKS, IAM, Autoscaling, WAF, ELB, VPC, Route53, Cloudwatch, SQS)
3+ years Kubernetes administration experience with Istio, Kustomize and Helm
Familiarity with GitOps, Observability, Disaster Recovery, Load Balancing and Security Technologies
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and effectively
Experience supporting a production environment
Scripting and Automation experience (Ansible, Python, Bash and Terraform)
CKA or AWS Certifications is a plus
