Your Role:

We’re searching for a motivated, outgoing sales development professional that is eager to join a collaborative team. Generating prospective leads, soliciting new clients, facilitating sales, and connecting customers with the proper salesperson are all tasks of the sales development representative.
To be a successful sales development representative, you should have good communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities. You should also be able to fulfill deadlines and exhibit excellent analytical and quantitative abilities.

Your Impact:

  • Execute activities for prospecting, lead generation, and selling of SolarWinds products to new and existing customers
  • Generate, manage, and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in the next steps
  • Utilize Salesforce, phone calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify the prospect’s pain and suggest appropriate products or services to qualify sales opportunity
  • Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions solve customer’s common pain points
  • Build rapport with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Your Experience:

  • • Strong communication skills via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • • Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • • Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

Preferred Skills 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least two years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to learn fast and thrive in a variety of situations
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.)
