Your Impact:

• Facilitate implementation and configuration of client SolarWinds product deployments.
• Provide clients with business process focused customization of their deployed SolarWinds products.
• Facilitates in the research and design of tactical and strategic solutions for business process for efficiency purposes.
• Provide design proposals depending on clients’ needs and wants.
• Deliver training on SolarWinds products and broader monitoring principles to clients.
• Analyze business requirements and design value-add SolarWinds implementation solutions.
• Expert knowledge of all SolarWinds applications and modules. (Training is provided)
• Perform system related diagnosis based on monitoring results.
• Conduct product level root cause analysis and help guide client through SolarWinds support process to address identified opportunities.
• Perform as a subject matter expert regarding the use of SolarWinds products as they apply to key industry technologies.
• Provide some SQL database configuration, support, and consultation.
• Travel on-site to client facilities on average of 40%.
• Obtain and maintain SolarWinds Certified Professional (SCP) certifications.
• Identify and escalate potential scheduling conflicts, tasking concerns, and blockers to achieving Statement of Work deadlines.
• Perform as a mentor within the team, providing support for the growth and development of others.

Your Experience:

• United States citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a United States government security clearance is required.
• 6+ years of experience with hands-on server and network administration/engineering for medium or large businesses.
• 6+ years of experience with industry-standard monitoring technologies like SNMP and WMI.
• Experience in high availability system configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience detailing technical solutions to administrators, end-users, and leadership.
• Strong understanding of SNMP, SNMP traps, and Syslog is a plus.
• Experience with SolarWinds or other related technologies (Nagios, Prometheus, etc.) a plus.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server OS administration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively in a mixed remote and office-based team.
