Your Role:

Under the direction of the IT Manager, the role of an Associate Network Engineer for SolarWinds will be collaborating with a global team of engineers, to provide the end to end management, maintenance, and support of the network Infrastructure.

Your Impact:

  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and perform upgrades within the network architecture
  • Suggesting improvements to network capacity, performance, and scalability
  • Provide proactive support for all relevant network infrastructure components
  • Timely incident troubleshooting, escalation, and facilitation
  • Ability to maintain technical documentation such as drawings and standard operating procedures
  • Monitoring of network performance to include capacity, reliability, and availability
  • Implementation of mechanisms to configure, operate, manage, and account for business network resources and traffic patterns.
  • Follow industry best practices, evaluate risk, manage upgrades and patching, and perform regular redundancy and resiliency tests within infrastructure.

Your Experience:

  • Sound knowledge with campus, branch office, WIFI, LAN switching, and associated L2 and L3 protocols.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Drive for operational excellence, customer focus and user experience
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication and collaboration skills
  • Solid experience with documentation, standard operating procedures, and polices aligned with infrastructure lifecycle management

Education

  • Industry certifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
