Your Role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Email Marketing Analyst to lead the analysis and optimization of our email marketing campaigns.

Working with the email marketing automation team and email marketing manager, you will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on current performance end-to-end. Through rigorous testing, you will benchmark, propose, agree, execute and report on a data-informed email test roadmap across segments and email types with the goal of continuously improving engagement, revenue generation, database health and growth. Looking beyond individual email campaign testing, our ideal Email Marketing Analyst will also be able to take a strategic approach in analyzing how effectively these individual optimizations have achieved the overall objectives of our email programs.

Your Impact:

  • Benchmark, analyze and report on email performance across the segments and email programs on an ongoing basis from email performance metrics through lead and revenue generation.
  • Propose email test roadmap candidates, articulate the reasons with data/hypotheses and involve the relevant stakeholders to formulate an agreed email test roadmap program across email types and segments.
  • Work with the marketing automation team, email marketing manager and other stakeholders to plan and request creative or other assets for the test program e.g. subject lines, copy, visual banners assets or dynamic content.
  • Measure and report on test results on an ongoing basis, articulating results into business outcomes and work with the Marketing Automation team and email marketing manager to adopt and execute on successful tests.
  • Benchmark and analyze database and segment health over time proposing how we can alternatively segment or optimize the base to grow it and increase engagement / value.
  • Review the email journey to identify gaps in the email path to conversion from email to website and work with the relevant stakeholders to problem-solve.
  • Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
  • Stay up to date with and assess fit for purpose industry trends.
  • Be curious about the larger context as it relates to email marketing and technologies, CRM and overall (digital) performance analysis.
  • Develop creative and innovative ways to continuously challenge the current results.

Your Experience:

  • Proven work experience as an Email marketing manager or analyst.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation technology e.g. Marketo, Hubspot, Pardot, Eloqua, etc.
  • Proficiency in Email and related A/B testing software.
  • Familiarity with analytical and database tools.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • An ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce or equivalent work experience.

Nice to Have:

  • Prior demand-generation experience in the B2B segment.
  • Understanding of broad-stroke digital marketing concepts and SEO.
  • Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus.
