Your Role:

SolarWinds is a leading provider of powerful and affordable IT management software to more than 300k customers worldwide, ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to small businesses.

Security is our top priority and SolarWinds is building a dedicated IAM team who will be responsible for the architecture, design, implementation, and ongoing operations of our centralized Identify and Access Management system.  

The Identity and Access Analyst’s role is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Identity and Access Management program. This is an active, hands-on position, responsible for the development, support, and administration of the identity and access management function and all its components.

Your Impact:

  • Perform key responsibilities as detailed in this job in a dependable, responsible and positive manner consistent with company guidelines.
  • The development and build out of IAM resources. (MIM 2026, Microsoft Entra ID)
  • Participate in the collection and analysis of existing business and technical requirements to develop Enterprise-wide Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes and procedures.
  • Working with internal teams to integrate applications and design/implement workflows.
  • Proficient in the English language – our teams are international where our official language is English
  • Develop processes and automation for ongoing audits and reconciliations.
  • Provisioning of user accounts for onboarding of personnel.
  • Maintenance of IAM security infrastructure.
  • Manage “End-user” access (application-level accounts) and “privileged access” (system/elevated-level accounts) given to individuals who are directly responsible for system management and/or systems security, and must have elevated or “special” permissions in order to perform their job function (most commonly IT resources).
  • Identify opportunities to automate and partner with internal teams to meet those needs.
  • Build out of the IAM infrastructure and supporting processes.
  • Day-to-day operational IAM activities: Provide IAM support to end users. Monitor IAM platform components and resources.
  • Work with HR, IT and other teams to ensure that IAM processes are integrated with other business processes.
  • Collaborate with other security professionals to identity and mitigate risks associated with access rights.
  • Integrating SaaS applications with Azure AD (SAML, OIDC, SCIM)
  • Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
  • Participate in development and maintenance of IAM workflows that manage provisioning of resource entitlements to end users using Azure AD IAM for centralized access
  • Workflow documentation and knowledge transfer as needed per provisioned resource in coordination with the IAM Business Analyst

Your Experience:

  • Relevant Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience in a technical position, including at least 3 in Identity and Access Management experience.
  • License/Certification: SC-300 Microsoft Identity and Access Admin, Certified Identity and Access Manager, preferred
  • Understanding of IAM security concepts, program structure, and technical components.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Active Directory and Azure AD.
  • Proficient with IAM technologies (Azure AD, Okta, SailPoint, SSO, MFA, etc.)
  • Familiarity with IAM-related standards and protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OpenID.
  • Automation and development skills, PowerShell, etc. with the ability to create IAM provisioning solutions using SCIM with on prem and SaaS based resources
  • Experience with Privileged Access Solutions (Thycotic, CyberArk, Azure PAM/PIM)
  • Microsoft Visio skills preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
