Sr. Product Manager, Security

Your Role:

As the PM, you are accountable to define a successful business strategy and product roadmap, then to work with Engineering and others to execute on that strategy. You are also responsible for evangelizing your products, defining roadmaps, creating epics, and user stories, and working with the Product Owner in ensuring those stories are successfully delivered. In addition, you will be responsible for various GTM activities such as delivering webinars, conducting analyst briefings, and sales enablement. 

Specifically, in the 

First 30 days:

• You will familiarize yourself with the product portfolio, its state of the union and key stakeholders in the cross-functional teams. 
• Understand release and escalation processes.

First 90 days and beyond:

• You will talk to customers and field teams, get feedback and create a product backlog.
• Ruthlessly start prioritizing product backlogs based on company and product strategy.
• Communicate regularly with cross-functional teams during execution of the plan.
• Keep track of product performance and make adjustments to the plan as required.

Your Experience:

• Total experience of 4-5 years with relevant Product Management experience of  2-3 years in the security or networking industry
• Good understanding of security use cases and personas
• Ownership and accountability of deliverables
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication skills, and ability to interact with customers, partners, and internal stake holders
• Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline to work effectively in a high-paced environment
