Overview

The Account Executive will be responsible for helping attract new customers for our product or services. The primary objective of this position is to achieve or exceed the sales goals or target set for each quarter. Sales collaborates with other departments to sell the product and services leaving our customers extremely satisfied.
Responsibilities

  • Executes on sales strategy, goals, objectives, and implementation plans to close sufficient new business to achieve sales quotas.
  • Establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Attends business networking groups representing the company in a positive manner and building relationships with key players.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential businesses.
  • Executes on sales activities to establish and enhance market presence and lead flow.
  • Works closely with Sales Engineers to answer technical questions and proactively present the value added by our products.
  • Execute marketing initiatives in support of sales activities as needed/requested.

Your Experience:

  • 5+ years of previous sales experience with proven track record in commission role.
  • Has experience in database selling.
  • Confident and assertive approach with the ability to deal with difficult situations.
  • Ability to network and build trust both internally and externally.
  • Ability to travel 20-40% of the time as business dictates.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple issues and/or projects successfully bringing them all to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Listens and responds effectively to customer questions; resolves customer problems to the customer’s satisfaction.
