Reporting to: Global Performance Marketing Lead

Your Role:

The Performance Marketing team drives direct demand for the SolarWinds business globally with a focus on revenue impact and optimization. This is a central role within the performance marketing team and as Paid Search Manager, you will help develop and execute a data-driven growth marketing strategy for our campaigns globally. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, numerate, creative, organized and demonstrate their passion for all things digital. Your Impact:

  • Manage the creation, development and deployment of our product marketing and thought leadership campaigns with a view to maximizing exposure and stimulating lead generation across paid search globally
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of all paid search campaigns working closely with an external agency and the Global Marketing Analytics team to ensure accurate, timely and suitable stakeholder reporting across the business.
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across the business on global or regional performance, actions and key results / outcomes in a clear, data-driven and timely manner.
  • Manage paid search ROI on an ongoing basis by regularly reviewing KPIs and ROI across all to ensure that we are getting the optimum results from all campaigns and compared against other digital demand generation activities. Understand and articulate the various attribution models and methodologies used by vendors and internally.
  • Constantly seek out optimization and growth opportunities through performance analysis, A/B and multivariate testing, landing page optimization and more.
  • Audit hygiene factors on a regular basis such as ad copy optimization, keyword research and analysis, landing page improvements and ad tracking.
  • Stay up to date with and assess fit for purpose industry trends.
  • Be curious about the larger context as it relates to paid search and overall (digital) performance analysis.
  • Develop creative and innovative ways to continuously challenge the current results.

Your Experience:

  •  3+ years' experience as a search specialist in an agency or within an advertiser, with day to day digital campaign management and ownership.
  • Experience with multiple platforms, e.g. Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook Ads, DoubleClick Campaign Manager, Amazon Ads.
  • Google Ads and/or Google Analytics certification.
  • Experience of enterprise paid search platforms like Google Search Ads 360, Adobe Advertising Cloud, Marin Software or Kenshoo.
  • BSc/BA in Marketing, Business, E-Commerce or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency

Nice to Have

  • Prior demand-generation experience in the B2B segment.
  • Experience using Salesforce, email marketing platforms and/or marketing automation platforms e.g., Marketo
  • Understanding of broad-stroke digital marketing concepts and SEO.
  • Experience using Tableau or other data visualization tools is a plus.
  • International search experience is a plus.
