Your Role:

As an Application Security Engineer, you will drive technical discussions and influence the product you’ll work on from a security perspective. You’ll have a significant impact on the growth of our IT observability product, you will work with trusted suppliers in completing security vulnerability and penetration tests, lead external security audits and supporting the compliance team with data and solutions, you’ll work closely with security teams, development teams, product managers (PM), Site Reliability Engineers, R&D and third-party groups and tools (e.g checkmarks, mend).

Your Impact:

Monitoring, triaging, processing, and escalating security events received from multiple services third-party vendors and known sources.
Identification, escalation, and follow up on of false positives.
Identify and analyse anomalies in our infrastructure and applications logs.
drive technical discussions and influence the product you’ll work on from a security perspective.
Guiding multiple teams across R&D to follow best security practices and standards.
Coordinate with other development teams in the international environment to ensure security requirement, and improvements are met.
Identify and recommend security event suppression, adjustment, modification, and tuning based on daily monitoring.
Operate security tools for continual monitoring and analysis of system/network activity to identify malicious activity.

Your Experience:

3+ years of experience in Software Development.
Code Auditing skills for the following: C#/.NET, MS SQL, TypeScript, Angular, GitHub.
Proficiency in written and verbal technical English.
Cyber Security savvy and a desire to work in the security domain.
Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Agile with a collaborative, curious, and inventive mindset.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Knowledge of secure architecture principles.
Experience as Application Security Engineer – Advantage
Experience with enterprise security environment and security in R&D development – Advantage
