Your Role:

The SCCM/Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for the management and architecture of the SCCM and Intune operating environments. The engineer is responsible for implementing and supporting infrastructure initiatives such as software provisioning, build management and vulnerability remediation utilizing the SCCM and Intune platforms. The Engineer is responsible for the on-going and continuous improvement of our life-cycle management process.

Your Impact:

  • Maintain existing desktop and laptop configurations, for Windows and MACs
    • Maintain latest software, hardware, & driver configurations
    • Build a set of configuration images based on the defined corporate desktop/laptop standards
    • Qualify new hardware/software, coordinate package releases, endpoint protection, monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
  • Provide proactive, reactive, and escalation level three support.
  • Engineer, Manage and Administer the SCCM Production and Test Environments
  • Manage and administer SCCM client health, including the process of getting clients healthy
    • Make certain all machines have SCCM client installed
    • Routinely run reports and validate that configuration manager matches
    • Define the SCCM client check ins
    • Verify client functionality and portal reporting
    • Create, manage, and administer SCCM software packages and deployments
    • Test packages for completeness prior to deployment
    • Troubleshoot failed SCCM deployments and SCCM health issues
  • Manage and tune platforms to ensure expected availability and performance levels are achieved.
  • Develop and provide documentation for ongoing support of SCCM environment.
  • Inform management in a clear, concise, and timely manner of any customer or technical issues
  • Additional duties as assigned.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  • Define and Manage Departments Best Practices

Your Experience:

  • Strong computer skills including: Windows and MAC Operating Systems, SCCM, Intune, JAMF, WSUS, Active Directory.
  • Strong working experience with a globally distributed Endpoint environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to listen, follow up, attend to detail, and accomplish desired results verbally and/or in written form to appropriately document issues
  • Hard working, motivated, and self-directed-able to think critically
  • Strong analytical and quantitative abilities
  • Candidate must have excellent judgment skills to be able to properly evaluate situations and immediately provide effective solutions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office Professional skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to handle high volume workload in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • A high degree of self-motivation, commitment, and integrity
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • M&A integration experience a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in MIS, IT, information systems, or equivalent experience.
  • MD-101 Certification
