Your Role:

Are you someone who wants to build excitement about and encourage others to get involved in causes and activities you’re passionate about in your career? As a People Team Intern for the Culture and Engagement team, you’ll have a significant impact on the growth of our business through programs that delight, inspire, and support SolarWinds employees – who we call Solarians – in areas like employee engagement, inclusion and belonging, corporate communication and community involvement. Your Impact:

In this role, you will be able to influence employee experience, engagement, and belonging through a variety of Culture Connector and Solarian Life & Community programs
Collaborate with partners and stakeholders across HR and the broader company to drive programs forward while ensuring we communicate with executive sponsors and Solarians all along the way
Lead at least one project from conception to execution with the guidance and support of the People Culture and Engagement team
Drive awareness of and engagement in various events and activities through Microsoft Teams and other asynchronous or remote-first communication platforms
Build invaluable relationships not only with HR professionals, but engineers, salespeople, marketers, and more, including executives and Solarians from around the world

Your Experience:

Ability to execute on plan and act with urgency
Agile with a collaborative, curious, and inventive mindset
Demonstrates high emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and makes thoughtful recommendations
Understands customer focus and has a solutions mindset
Driven to help others, especially with a focus on sustainability, giving and community involvement, inclusion and belonging, and communication campaign.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2+ years’ experience working with groups on projects related to sustainability, giving and community involvement, inclusion and belonging, corporate communication and campaign

Preferred Qualifications

Undergraduate in Human Resources/ Mass Communication/ Sociology
Project management, Technology-enabled communication (e.g., Microsoft Teams or similar chat app), and/or event planning (esp. virtual)
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint
