Your Role:

This position is part of our Global Internship Program, which gives chance to new talents show themselves and with our support improve and thrive. It is an on-site paid internship on our site in Brno in The Czech Republic. The length is limited – for 3 months, from the 1st of July 2023 until the end of September 2023, for full-time employment – 40 hours per week. This internship cannot be done remotely.

In which team will you work?

You will be working with the team responsible for part of the front-end development of the SolarWinds Observability platform (SWO).

The team works closely with the backend team to deliver customer-facing features of digital experience monitoring as part of the SWO platform.

This is a great opportunity to be part of a big multinational team, work on a growing project, and learn more about observability.

Responsibilities:

Develop testable, production-quality code under the supervision and tutelage of highly experienced software engineers.
Collaborate with outstanding software engineers from around the world.
In this role, you will learn how to drive the analysis and implementation of new and existing software features.
Learn through experience by consulting with teammates on high-visibility projects.

Qualifications:

Should have some experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React
Nice to have some experience with GraphQL, Unit testing etc.
Shows a desire to follow industry best practices in analyzing and developing solutions to complex computing problems.
Exudes emotional intelligence, and sound judgment, and makes thoughtful, customer-centric recommendations.
Demonstrates creativity and high engagement in brainstorming new ideas and solutions.
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Concerns themselves with writing testable code for both customer-facing, and non-customer-facing systems.
Has a passion for learning and keeping up to date with the latest technologies and design concepts.
